Pia Yasay
Project Manager
Pia joined MGNY’s Affordable Housing unit in 2019 as a Project Manager. She works on behalf of developers to manage and oversee the lease-up of new multi-family development projects throughout New York City. She works closely with prospective applicants to determine eligibility and fit for each project through NYC’s Housing Lottery and administers compliance of regulations prescribed by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), the New York State Homes & Community Renewal (HCR) and New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD).
Prior to joining MGNY, Pia worked in the architecture and design industry, specializing in business development, strategy and communications.
Pia is an urbanist who is passionate about the built environment and issues that relate to the quality of life and equity within urban centers. She enjoys exploring New York City with her bicycle, seeking out new culinary experiences and relaxing with a good book.
