Dmitriy Irinev
Property Tax Director
As a Director of the Tax Appeal unit, Dmitriy assumes responsibility for the unit's daily operations, ensuring that the company adheres to its goals and vision, and strives to deliver optimal outcomes for its clients.
Dmitriy is highly skilled in property assessment with years of experience in the field and city government. Prior to Joining MGNY, Dmitriy worked for both the Department of Finance (DOF) and Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) in New York City. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive knowledge in property assessment, valuations, and compliance, particularly in high-value properties in some of the most prestigious areas of New York.
During his tenure at the Department of Finance, Dmitriy served as an Assessor at the Department of Finance, where he was responsible for a range of duties including valuations, exemptions, and physical increases. He then joined the Billing and Communication unit, where he oversaw the property and excise tax billing process and played a key role in the development of the property and business tax systems. His expertise and leadership skills were used in this role, as they successfully streamlined processes and improved communication channels between stakeholders.
Most recently, Dmitriy has served as Director of the Tax Credit(LIHTC) and HOME compliance unit at HPD. In this role, he was responsible for ensuring compliance as well as overseeing the development of policies and procedures related to LIHTC and HOME compliance.
